Split PVC

Split PVC is a rigid, pre-slit sleeve designed to narrow the space between rods. It is not intended for product protection but instead reduces product loss by minimizing the gap. Because it is easy to mount and remove, Split PVC is ideal for temporary or seasonal adjustments.

Rod covering is used to modify the behavior and performance of sieve rods during harvesting and processing. Depending on the type of sleeve or profile applied, it can protect sensitive crops, reduce product damage, minimize wear on the rods, or influence the sieving gap. Coverings are available in various materials and hardness levels—from soft PVC for product-friendly cushioning to harder plastics that reduce the spacing between rods. Some sleeves are split and easily removable, while others are designed for permanent application.
