CRE Triple

The CRE Triple extends Broekema’s cast rod-end innovation into a triple rod configuration that maximises belt life and sieving capacity by allowing a larger pitch with fewer rivets, producing smoother belt operation and significantly reduced wear. Tested under extreme conditions and proven across multiple harvesting and washing applications, the CRE Triple delivers superior durability and throughput while maintaining consistent product flow and minimising return-flow losses associated with traditional systems.

The brackets may contain both steel and lightweight material.

  • Maximised belt longevity: The triple CRE configuration supports an even larger pitch and fewer rivets, producing smoother operation and significantly extended belt life, particularly under heavy use.
  • Simple, fast servicing: Individual rods in the CRE Triple can be changed quickly, minimising downtime during maintenance or field repairs.
  • Bushing-free reliability: With no bushings required, the CRE Triple avoids the frequent wear and replacements that bushing systems demand.
  • Reduced mechanical wear: Narrow cast rod ends are compatible with double‑cam traction belts, helping to lower wear on support rollers and rods while maintaining sieving performance.

Broekema’s CRE cast rod-end is a patented, cast bracket solution available in single, dual and triple rod configurations, engineered to sit in the neutral line of sieving conveyor belts and guarantee consistent rod spacing with very small tolerances. The open cast design increases sieving area compared with welded twinbands and permits a larger pitch with fewer rivets, which smooths belt operation and substantially extends belt life. CRE rods eliminate the need for bushings (removing associated wear and replacements), enable quick replacement of individual rods for fast field repairs, reduce wear on support rollers and rods by using narrow ends compatible with double‑cam traction belts, and have been proven in demanding applications such as sugarcane harvesting as well as standard potato harvesting, washing and sorting operations.
