Our special steel flights are hybrid constructions that combine the strength of steel with the weight-saving benefits of lightweight materials such as PVC cloth. This makes them particularly suitable for long elevators and machines operating in hilly terrain, where minimizing total belt weight is critical. The lightweight design helps reduce ground pressure, wear on support rollers, and overall machine load—especially important for self-propelled harvesters and bunker elevators. Each flight is custom-engineered based on client-specific requirements and enters production only after formal approval of a detailed drawing. These special flights offer an ideal balance between durability, performance, and weight optimization, providing a smart solution for demanding field conditions.
