Steel Flight with Pins

Steel flights with pins are a durable variant commonly used in aggressive handling environments such as sugar beet elevators and soil-heavy harvesting conditions. Instead of loops, these flights are equipped with welded pins that act as locating features for precise integration with the rod system. The use of pins ensures strong mechanical fixation while reducing the chance of flight rotation or displacement under dynamic loads. Like all Broekema steel flights, these are fully custom-built and only enter production after formal approval of the drawing. These flights can be designed with additional features such as wear skids, reinforcing ribs, or corrosion-resistant coatings to optimize performance and longevity. Pin-mounted flights are particularly useful when minimal flex is required, and consistent product spacing must be maintained throughout the conveying process.
