KW series - Friction drive

The KW Series offers a compact and versatile friction drive solution, engineered for light to medium-duty conveyor systems. These drive wheels are manufactured from a high-quality synthetic core and feature a durable rubberized outer surface for efficient traction against the rubber belt. As with all friction drives, the KW Series transmits power by pressing against the surface of the traction belt, making them pitch-independent and easy to integrate into a wide range of machines.

Due to their lightweight construction and moderate contact pressure, KW wheels are ideal for applications that don’t require the extreme grip or mass of the FRD or HS series. They’re frequently used in smaller machines, compact harvesters, or systems with limited installation space. Despite their size, KW wheels maintain consistent traction under normal working conditions and help reduce energy consumption due to their lower rotational resistance.
