N series - Rod drive

The N Series sprockets are designed for direct engagement with the cams of Broekema traction belts, offering a powerful and slip-resistant drive solution. Manufactured from robust cast iron, these sprockets ensure reliable torque transfer, even in demanding agricultural and processing environments.

Unlike rod-driven systems, the N Series drives the belt itself — making it ideal for cammed belt types such as EN0900, DN0909, G0505, EN1200P, and DN1209P. When combined with Broekema’s low-stretch TN1200/3 traction belts, the result is a highly secure drive system with minimal risk of slippage, even under load or in wet processing conditions.

These sprockets are often used in ring elevators and processing belts, especially where precise synchronization and strong traction are required. Most N Series sprockets are split for easy installation around the shaft, with the exception of the N40-10 and N40-12, which are supplied in one piece.

A bore and keyway can be added to match standard drive shaft dimensions, and set screws can be included upon request for additional security.
