E-Profile / RFL 20

The RFL 20 is Broekema’s smallest standard rubber flight and forms the foundation of our widely used RFL flight series. Designed for lightweight applications and fine product handling, this low-profile flight is ideal for crops and transport scenarios where minimal lift height is required, and product movement needs to remain controlled and gentle. The RFL 20 helps reduce unnecessary agitation, minimizing product damage — especially when dealing with sensitive or small-sized goods.

Broekema’s RFL flights are made from extruded rubber, a production method that allows for consistent quality, excellent durability, and flexible customization. These flights are typically mounted over two steel rods using molded holes — one round and one slotted. The slotted hole allows the rod to move slightly as the belt runs around rollers, making the belt more flexible and helping reduce mechanical stress on both flight and belt. This construction improves the longevity of the system and ensures smoother rotation, even in demanding working conditions.

Rubber flights like the RFL 20 are a popular choice in various agricultural sectors due to their durability, resistance to wear, and excellent performance on curved paths. They are especially suited for root crops, vegetables, and industrial handling tasks where contamination, chipping, or bruising must be avoided. For higher lift requirements, Broekema offers a wide range of taller RFL profiles — such as the RFL 30, RFL 45, and the LF-series (Lip Flights).

Every RFL flight is designed to integrate seamlessly with Broekema’s rod-based elevator belts. Our modular approach allows for tailoring the belt configuration to your specific crop, machine, and pitch requirements. The RFL 20 is available with standardized specifications for rod size and pitch and can be adapted to different belt widths upon request.
